E&B

Silver Elm & Canada Mark Diamond Engagement Ring

B wanted to represent both of their loves of nature and connection to woodland. He is a Thatcher by trade, she is a chainsaw wood carver and they live off-grid on land in rural Dorset.

B had a 300 year old piece of Elm wood from a job that he knew that E treasures. Bethany worked with expert casting company Jewelcast to cast this irreplaceable and utterly unique piece of wood in recycled sterling silver. B wanted to harmonise the unique elements of the design with a more traditional stone choice in a 0.4 carat Fully Traceable Canada Mark Diamond which Bethany sourced for him.

Bethany then nestled the diamond into the folds of silver that were already formed from the Elm wood and set it with a small prong for extra support. The setting sits on a hand forged silver band made from recycled sterling silver.
